Following the report, the Board of Trustees <br />awarded the contract to T. W. Ogleaby as the low- <br />est responsible bidder therefor at the price named <br />in his bid. <br /> <br />Trustee Chapman introduced a Resolution awarding <br />the contract to T. W. Oglesby. The resolution was <br />ordered filed, read, c onsidered, designated Reso- <br />lution No. 1751 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees C.H. Chapman, Goo McPhee, E.B. <br /> Collier, Stanley E. Goods, F.L. Purinton <br /> <br /> Trustees None <br /> <br /> Trustees None. <br /> <br />This being the time and place set forth in Reso- <br />lution of Intention No. 1739 to order the work <br />done and improvement made upon and along a portion <br />of Freeman Avenue, and the Board of Trustees beir~ <br />duly convened in open session, proceeded to hear <br />and pass upon all protests p~esented. <br /> <br /> No owner or property liable to be assessed for <br />said work made written protest or any protest <br />against the proposed work or against the extent of <br />the district to be assessed therefor and no person <br />appearing to pPotest or object or show any cause <br />why the improvement should not De carried out in <br />accordance with Resolution of Intention No. 1739, <br />the Board of Trustees deemed that it had acquired <br />Jurisdiction to order the proposed improvement. <br /> <br /> Trustee Collier introduced a resolution ordering <br />the work to be done and improvement made as brief- <br />ly set out in Resolution of Intention No. 1739. <br /> <br />The resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, <br />designated Resolution Ordering Work No. 1752, and <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> <br />
