No 1870 <br /> <br />Ordering Work <br /> <br />Towner Street <br /> <br />Sower. <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Knox and car- <br />ried, it was decided that all decisions are to be given <br />by the City Attorney with reference to the interpreta- <br />tions of ordinances effesting department heads. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kuox, secor~led by Goode and carrie, <br /> <br />the City Council aa a whole and the Fire Chief and City <br />MAnager were appointed to investigate sites for a new <br /> <br />Fire Station. <br /> <br />This being the time and place set forth in Resolution <br />of Intention No. 186~ to order the work done and improv <br />ment made upon and along a portion of Towner Street <br />from Eighth Street to Tenth Street, and the City Coun- <br />cil being duly convened in open session, proceeded to <br />hear and pass upon all protests presented. <br /> <br /> No owner of property liable to be assessed for said <br />work made written protest or any protest against the <br />proposed work or against the extent of the district to <br />be assessed therefor and no person appearing to protest <br />or object or show any cause why the improvement should <br />not be carried out in accordance with Resolution of <br />Intention No. 186~, the City Council deemed that it had <br />acquired Jurisdiction to order the proposed improvement <br />A resolution was introduced ordering the work to be <br />done and improvement made as briefly set out in Resolu- <br />tion of Intention No. 1862. The resolution was ordered <br />filed, read, considered,dasignated Resolution Ordering <br />Work No. 1870 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, W.J.Kelly, W.G. Knox, <br /> Stanley E. Goode, F.L. Purinton. <br /> <br /> None. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees <br />Absent, Trustees <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and <br /> <br />carried, the City Council adjourned to Monday, January <br />23rd, 19~8, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chamber. <br /> <br /> <br />
