M. Lister to rezone Tenth <br />and Riverine to allow the building of a duplex, was <br />grant ed. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Chaney and car- <br />ried, the petition of property owners was granted to <br />rezone N. Var~ess Avenue between Eighth and Lime from <br />single ~amily residence zone to two family and apartment <br />house district zone. <br /> <br />A resolution adopting plans and specifications for the <br /> <br />improv~nent to be made upon and along Ross Street betwee~ <br />Washington and Seventeenth, and Sixteenth Street between <br /> <br />Ross and Durant, was filed, read, considered, designated <br /> <br />Resolution No. 1963 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees J. L. McBride, Homer C. Chaney, Stanley <br /> E. Goode, F.L. Purinton. <br /> <br /> Trustees None. <br /> <br /> Noes, <br />Absent, <br /> <br />Trustees N. J. Kelly. <br /> <br />This being the time when interested p~rsons might be <br />heard concerning the report of the Superintendent of <br />Streets covering expenses in connection with cleaning <br />noxious and dangerous we~ds from private property in the <br />City of Santa Ana, and the City Council being now in <br />regular session, proceeded to consider protests presen- <br />ted. All proteSts and objections having been heard to <br />said report and after due consideration, same were over- <br />ruled. <br /> <br /> A resolution was introduced overruling protests or <br />objections to assessment, a?proving the report and order. <br />ing the Street Superintendent to file a copy thereof <br />with the Tax CollectOr. <br /> <br /> The resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, <br />designated Resolution No. 1964 and passed by the follow- <br />ing vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees J.
