Ross Street, was denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the Clerk was instructed to draw a warrant in <br />amount of $100.O0 in favor of Chas D. Swanner, City <br />Attorney, for expenses in connection with the North <br />Sycamore Street 0pening. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goods, seconded by Chaney and car- <br />ried, the communication from the Planning Commission, <br />changing the date of ~heir meetings to the first and <br />third Wednesdays after the first and third Mondays of <br />each month, at 3:30 P.M., was accepted and filed with <br />the Clerk and Engineer for future reference. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Chaney and car- <br />ried, the ordinance controlling phonograph and radio <br />noises on the sidewalks and streets was laid on the <br />table for future reference. <br /> <br />Written and oral protests and petitions against and in <br />favor were read aud heard relative to. the paving of <br />Halladay Street between First and McFadden. On motion <br />of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and carried, the <br />protests were referred to the City Manager for checking <br />and the hearing was continued for one week. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chaney, secc~ded by Goods and car- <br />ried, the Council proceeded to canvass the returns of <br />t~he Annexation Election of the North ~nd Addtion to the <br />City of Santa Aha, being thc time provided for a <br /> <br />adjourned meeting next after the <br />days from and after the date of <br />15th, 1928, as required by law. <br /> <br />expiration of three <br />said election held June <br />There was one election <br /> <br />precinct established and provided i~r the holding of <br />said special election and the whole number of votes cast <br />on said proporsition in the territory to be annexed as <br />aforesaid 59 and the number of votes cast therein in <br /> <br /> <br />
