Goode. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car <br />ried, the communication from the Auto Club of Southern <br />California asking for the regulations governing aero- <br />planes and airports in Santa Ana, was referred to the <br />City Attorney. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Chaney and car- <br />ried, the protest of E. L. Chandler,against the exorbi- <br />tant price charged for cleaning weeds from his property, <br />was referred to 'the City Manager. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the City Manager was authorized to arrauge for <br />four transferable tickets at $25.00 each, for Officials <br />and employees to attend the ~ort Course ~to be ~iven at <br />th~ University of Southern California from August 13th <br />to 18th inclusive. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the maintenance bond of The Dorr Company, Inc., <br />covering screening plaUt equipment at the Joint Outfall <br />Sewer, was approved and the Clerk was instructed to draw <br />warrant in amount of $~032.65 as final payment on equip- <br />ment from the Joint Outfall Sewer Completion Fund. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br /> ried, the City Engineer was instructed to draw plans and <br /> specifications for the paving of Garfield Street between <br /> First and Sixth with a five inch asphaltlce pavement, <br /> according to petition filed by property owners; percen- <br /> tage being 56.&7~. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Goode, secc~ded by Kelly and car- <br /> ried, the report of the Water Department for the fiscal <br /> year 1927 and 1928, was accepted and placed on file. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br /> On motion of T~ustee Kelly, seconded by C.baney and car- <br /> ried, Stanley E. Goode, Trustee, was given a thirty day <br /> leave of absence from the State to take affect August <br /> 3rd, 1928. <br /> <br /> <br />
