Morrison <br />at Chico reference distribution of State Eas01tne~tax <br />money presented with request that an expression be <br />given in effort to secure discussion at League of <br />California Municipalities Convention to be held at <br /> <br />San Bernardino in October. The Clerk was instructed <br />to advise that Santa ~na is interested in distribution <br />of this money and favors such discussion. <br /> <br />On mo~ion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and <br />carried, invitation from Colorado River Aqueduct Assoc. <br />iation to attend l~n~cheon at St. Ann's Inn on Septembe~ <br />22nd, was presented and the Council as a whole, City <br />Eanager, City Engineer and City Attorney were appointe~ <br />to attend the Meeting. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Mc!!ride and <br /> carried, the application of .~. L. Ballard for permiss- <br /> ion to install a gasoline tank under the parkway <br /> adjacant to his property at 1632 South Main Street <br /> was referred to the City Manager and Fire Chief to <br /> report back next meeting. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Goode and <br /> carried, the application of the Santa Aha Laundry for <br /> permission to construc~ a temporary corrugated iron <br /> garage building 20~x64' on property at rear of its <br /> laundry at llll East Fourth Street, was referred to <br /> the City Manager for investigation and report to the <br /> City Planning Comnisslon. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Chaney and <br /> carried, the report of the County Health Department <br /> <br />for month of August, <br />Committee. <br /> <br />1928, was referred to the Finance <br /> <br />Petition was presented for the paving of North Flower <br /> <br />Street from 15th St. to Santa Clara Avenue with 6" <br /> <br />Portland cement concrete pavement~ 40 ft. wide, <br /> <br />lng 68.8V% of the property owners represented, and on <br /> <br /> <br />
