On motion of T~ustee <br /> Goode, seconded by Chancy and carried, a Committee <br /> composed of City Manager, City Engineer and President of <br /> the Board was instructed to meet with School Board in <br /> effort to reach satisfactory solution of parking <br /> problems in this vicinity. <br /> <br /> This being the time and place fixed for the opening of <br /> bids or proposals for the work ordered done and improve- <br /> ment made upon Ross Street, between the center line of <br /> Washington Avenue and the Southerly line of Seventeenth <br /> Street, and the South half of Sixteenth Street and <br /> described in Resolution of Intention No. 1991, and the <br /> City Council being duly convened in open session proceede <br /> to and did publicly open, examine and declare all bids <br /> <br />received as follows: <br /> <br />(2) (3) (4) (5) (e) <br />.45 $ 65.00 $ 12.00 $ x .oo <br />.60 .~0 90.00 14.25 10.00 <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and carried <br />the bids were referred to the City Manager and Engineer <br />for checking and to report back this meeting. Following <br />the report, the City Council awarded the contract to <br />the Griffith Company as the lowest responsible bidder <br />therefor . A resolution w~s introduced awarding the <br />contract.
