V:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Furinton. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees J.L. McBride, W.J.Kelly, <br />Homer C. Chaney, Stanley E. Goode, F.L.Purinton. <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br />Minutes of Meetings of October 1st and 8th <br />approved as read, <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petition to <br /> <br />Rezone W. 1st St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petition <br /> <br />Street Light--Baker St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Electric Sign. <br /> <br />Health Report. <br /> <br />In Re <br />Application <br />OhUa'ah of Christ. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br />tied, the petition of property owners to rezone West <br />First Street, between Broadway and Birch especially on <br />the north side of said street, for business was referred <br />to the Planning Con~nission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chancy, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, petition of property owners for a street li~lat on <br />Baker Street between Sixth and Eighth was referred to <br />the City Manager for investigation. Lowell, Freeman <br />and Olive Streets between Sixth and Eighth robe included <br />in the investigation. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the application of the Cope Electric Company to <br />hang an electric sign for Roy Lyon at 108 East First <br />Street, was granted under the supervision of the Elec- <br />trical Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />tied, the report of the Orange County Health Department <br />for the month of September, was referred to the Finance <br />Committee. <br /> <br />No protests having been filed and on motion of Trustee <br />Chancy, seconded by McBride and carried, the ap~ <br /> <br /> <br />
