Fifth Street, was granted <br />under plans submitted to the City Manager. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and <br /> tied, the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to sign con- <br /> tract with th~ Santa Aha Printing Company for the City <br /> printing for the coming year. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Uoode, seconded by Chaney and car- <br /> ~led, the City Manager was instructed to write a letter <br /> of appreciation to the Richfield Oil Company thanking <br /> them for the enjoyable trip to San Bernardino in their <br /> giant air ship. <br /> <br /> A resolution was introduced approving assessment <br /> covering the improvement in, on and along Western Avenu. <br /> between First and Eighth, in accordance with Resolution <br /> of Intention No. 1981. The resolution was ordered <br /> read, designated Resolution No. 2023, and passed by the <br /> <br />following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees J.L.
