Unpaid Assess. <br /> <br />Olive, Garnsey & Pine Sts. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kell2 and car- <br />ried, the Council proceeded to canvass the returns of <br />Annexation Election of the South Main Addition to the <br />City of Santa Ana, being the time provided for its regu- <br />lar meeting next after the expiration of t.hree days from <br />and after the ~ate of said election held October 23rd, <br />1928, as required by law. There was but one election <br />precinct established and provided for the holding of <br />said special election, namely, Delhi Precinct and the <br />whole number of votes cast on said proposition in the <br />territory to be annexed as aforesaid 94 and the number <br />of votes cast therein in favor of annexation was 45, and <br />the number of vo~es cast therein against annexation was <br />49, and the City Council finds that as a result of said <br />election the proposition of annexing said territory to <br />the City of Santa Aha was defeated. <br /> <br />Trustee McBride introduced a resolution declaring result <br />of the special election held October 23rd, 1928, for the <br />Annexation of the South Main Addition to the City of <br />Santa Ana, showing the proposition was defeated. The <br />resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, desig- <br />nated Resolution No. 2028 and passed by the following <br />vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, W.J. Kelly, Homer C. <br /> Chaney, Stanley E. Goode, F.L. Purinton. <br /> <br /> Trustees None. <br /> <br /> Noes, <br />Absent, <br /> <br />Trustees None. <br /> <br />This being ten days after the time of publication of <br />notice within which protests or objections might be mad~ <br />against the abandonment of the corner of Washington and <br />Poinsettia Streets, for street purposes, and no person <br />appearing to protest or object to the work as set out i~ <br />Resolution of Intention No. ~014 and no written protests <br />having been filed, a resolution was introduced ordering <br />the improvement. <br /> <br /> The resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, <br /> <br />designated Resolution Ordering Improvement <br />and passed hy the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees J.L.
