<br />1873, and the.City Council being duly convened in open

<br />session proceeded to and did publicly open, examine and
<br />
<br />declare all bids received as follows:
<br />
<br />Item No. 1. The furnishing and installing upon and
<br />all portions of streets upon which work is specified
<br />be done under the Specifications for Assessment Distri(
<br />No. 151, and as indicated on the Plans for Assessment
<br />District No. 15], of all necessaryc onduits, cables,
<br />ground connectipns and the making of all necessary con-
<br />nections to the service point and to existing circuits,
<br />and the repair and replacement of all pavement,
<br />or curb cut or damaged during construction, c~mplete
<br />with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor
<br />and material, for the sum of ~ complete.
<br />Item No. 2. The furnishing, constructing and installi:
<br />of all necessary concrete fo~ndations, anchor bolts,
<br />ornamental double lighting standards, wiring, lamps,
<br />globes, canopies, and all other necessary items above
<br />gound, complete with the furnishing of all necessary
<br />equipment, labor and mater~sl for the sum of ~
<br />per standard complete.
<br />Item No. 3. The excavation for and the construction of
<br />concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, and concrete driveway
<br />in accordance with Detail No. i of the Plans and Speci-
<br />fications therefor, together with the furnishing of all
<br />necessary equipment, labor and material, for the sum of
<br />$ complete.

<br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Knox and carrie(,
<br />
<br />the bids were referred to the City Egnineer for
<br />
<br />to report back st this meeting. Following the report,
<br />
<br />the City Cottncil awarded the contract to Walker and
<br />
<br />Martin as the lowest responsible bidders therefor at
<br />
<br />total price of 420,940.00. The Clerk was instructed to
<br />
<br />return checks to all unsuccessful bidders. Trustee
<br />
<br />Goode introduced a Resolution Awarding the Contract to
<br />
<br />Walker and Martin. The resolution was ordered filed,
<br />
<br />read, considered, designated Resolution No. 1881 and
<br />
<br />passed by the following vote:
