Purinton <br /> <br />Leave of Absence. <br /> <br />On motion of 'l~ustee Goode, seconded by Chaney and car- <br />ried, the communication and pipeline license from the <br />AtchisOn, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company covering <br />three-fourths inch water pipe line recently installed <br />under their tracks between Washington and Seventeenth <br />Street, was referred to the City Attorney te report back <br />January Vth, 1929. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and ¢ <br />the application of Lillie B. Edgin to conduct a Ladies <br />Dress Shop at her home, 715 S. Patton Street, was refer- <br />red to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chancy, seconded by Goede and car- <br />ried, notice of and objections to faulty proceedings,in <br />the matter of improvement of portions of Garfield Street <br />et al, under Resolution of Intention No. 2033 of the <br />City of Santa Aha, from the Los Angeles and Salt Lake <br />Railroad Company was referred to the City Attorney. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Chancy and car- <br />ried, the application of the Robertson Electric Corpor- <br />ation to hang an electric sign for Mr. George Lecas at <br />421 W. Fourth Street, was granted under supervision of <br />the Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Chaney' and car- <br />ried, the Clerk was authorized to draw warrants for the <br />Chamber of Commerce in amount of $415.52 and in favor <br />cf J. M. Backs, County Clerk, in amount of SZZ,V52.80 <br />to cover eempensati~,coata and Judgment for property <br />damages for opening N. Sycamore Street. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Goode and c ar- <br />tied, easement for right-of-way to construct and <br />a sanitary sewer over property cf Helen M. Bennett was <br />accepted and the Clerk instructed to have same recorded. <br /> <br /> The appointmen~ of S.H. Ft$ley~ by ~he~Mayor,~ as repre- <br /> sentative of the City of Santa Aha for~ the Metropolitgn <br /> Water District, was onmo~ion of Trustee GoOde, seconded <br /> by Chancy a~d carried~, approved. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br /> On motion of Tr~stee McBride, seconded by Kelly and car- <br /> ried, Mayor F.
