On motion of <br />Trustee Goode, seconded by Chancy and carried, the peti- <br />tion was referred to the Engineer to report back at a <br />later date his recommendation. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the Clerk was instructed to sign the Councilts <br />approval to Map Tract 421, covering a subdivision within <br />the three mile limit of the City. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Chancy and car- <br />ried, the reco~m~endation of the planning Commission was <br />accepted and the property at the northeast corner of <br />Fairview and Garnsey was ordered posted for d~plex <br />ing to application of C. L. Coulson. <br /> <br />On motion of McBride, seconded by Goode and carried, the <br />Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according to <br />demands audited by the Finance Committee as follows: <br /> <br />W. D. Anderson Water Fund <br />Western Pipe & Steel Co. " " <br />Union Tank & Pipe Co. " " <br />Wallace & Tiernan Co. Sewer " <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, <br /> <br />$ 286.29 <br /> VSO.O0 <br /> 1883.55 <br /> 356.40 <br /> <br />seconded by Chancy and car. <br /> <br />Pied, the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign con- <br />tract with the Southern California Edison Company cover- <br />ing the reduction of rates on ornamental lights in the <br />City. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chancy, secc~ded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the Engineer was instructed to prepare plans and <br />specifications for the paving of Lowell Street, south of <br />Fairview a distance of approximately 600 feet. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrant in amount <br />of $200.00 in favor of the American Legion covering ex- <br />penses in connection with the Mardi Gras to be held <br />February 2?th. <br /> <br /> <br />
