H. Tingley to conduct <br />his business as chiropractor at his residence, ll8 W. <br />19th Street was denied for the reason that same is con- <br />trary to the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the Clerk was instructed to check-up the businesses <br />being conducted in residences in violation of the Zoning <br />Ordinance using a single floor for both residential and <br />business purposes. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, action was deferred for two weeks on the applica- <br />tion of M. G. Johns to rezone the northeast corner of <br /> <br />Third and Patton Streets <br />to Business Zone. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, <br />tied, the application of the <br /> <br />from First Class Apartment Zone <br /> <br />Seconded by Chaney and car- <br /> <br /> American Legion was granted <br /> <br />a free license to conduct a carnival in connection with <br />the Mardt Gras to be held February 2Vth, 1930, and to <br />close Birch Street between Third and Fourth. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the application of Mr. Unmack, representing the <br />Boy Scouts, was granted the use of Birch Park February <br />8th, 1930, to conduct the Boy Scouts Recommitment Exe~,~ <br />cises. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chaney, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the application of C. H. Eckles was granted to <br />change the bus service and schedule after V o'clock in <br />the evening with the view of getting out a permanent <br />time table. <br /> <br /> <br />
