Schieber. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Agreement with <br /> <br />Southern Pacific Co. <br /> <br />B.O. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br /> ried, the City Attorney was instructed to prepare an <br /> agreement to be executed by ~he Standard Oil Company <br /> relative to erection of service station at the southeast <br /> corner of 17th and Main Streets within the set back lifo <br /> of ten feet on both streets. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Goode and car- <br /> ried, the Mayor and Engineer were appointed as a commit- <br /> tee to investigate grade crossings of the Santa Fe Rail- <br /> way Company with a member of the Railroad Commission on <br /> June 18th at 2:00 P.M. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the communication of the Orange County Humane <br />ety, Inc., relative to conditions at the Dog Pound and <br />allowing the Society to handle the dog licenses and the <br />care of animals for a remuneration, was taken under <br />advisement. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded bY K~lly and car- <br />ried, the c ommunlcation of The Metropolitan Water Distri~ <br />was accepted and the Clerk instructed to post copies of <br />Ordinances No. 13 and 14 in a public place. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Sutton, <br />tied, the application of the <br /> <br />seconded by Kelly and car- <br />Cope Electric Company to <br /> <br />hang an electric sign for Dr. Ralph Murane at 106 E. <br />Fourth Street was granted under supervision of the Elec- <br />t~rical Inspector. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the application of Ora L. Schieber for a permit to <br />erect a duplex at 926 S. VanNess Avenue, was referred to <br />the Planning Commission for recommendation. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the Mayor and Clerk ware instructed to sign an <br />agreement with the Southern Pacific Company covering the <br /> <br /> <br />
