206 <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Appointment <br /> <br />Bert Cowen. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Inspection <br /> <br />of French Building. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bids on <br /> <br />Improvement of <br /> <br />Main, Cypress, etal. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />Amending Electrical Ordinance. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 919 <br /> <br />Regulating Signs. <br /> <br /> two three-ton trucks according to specifications on file <br /> in City Engineerls office. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, Bert Cowen was appointed Special police officer of <br />the City of Santa Aha, without remuneration. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the Fire Chief, Sanitary, Plumbing, Electrical and <br />Building Inspectors were instructed to make an inspection <br />of the French Building located at the northeast corner of <br />Fourth and Main Streets and report back in one week. <br /> <br />This being the time and place fixed for the opening of <br />bids or proposals for the work and improvement to be made <br />in, on and along portions of Main, Cypress, Orange, Maple <br />Measor, Halladay, Evergreen St. Andrew, 6t. Gertrude, <br />Delhi, Flora,' Central, Adams, ~Enett, Goetz, Dyer, Ana- <br />hurst, certain rights-of-way and a certain parcel of city <br />property, according to Resolution of Intention No. 2189, <br />and the City Council being duly convened in open session <br />proceeded to and did publicly open, examine and declare <br /> <br />all bids received as follows: <br /> <br />S.
