RESOLUTION NO. 52-86 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION A~4ENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5114 AND <br /> PROVIDING SALARY AND WAGE INCREASES FOR <br /> EMPLOYEES IN THE MUNICIPAL SERVICE OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA.ANA. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has encountered consider- <br />able difficulty in securing competent employees in certain of its <br />Job classifications through inability to compete with salaries <br />and wages being offered for similar work in this area, and <br /> <br /> I~HEREAS, general leVel of wages and salaries in the area <br /> of Santa Ana has increased during the past year, and <br /> <br /> WHE~S, the cost of goods and services required by <br /> persons living in this area has likewise increased during the <br /> same period; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Section 3 of Resolution No. 5115 is amended <br /> to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 3: All~cation .of Classes o~ Employment to_SalaFy <br /> ~ndWage Schedules.
