<br /> This being the time and place when and where interested
<br /> persons might appear and show cause why bonds should not
<br /> be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments fo~
<br /> work done and improvement made upon portions of.First,
<br /> Main, Bush, Cypress, Spurgeon, Orang~, French, Maple,Oak
<br /> Hickory, Lacy, Halladay, Garfield, Cedar, Evergreen and
<br /> Minnie Streets, in accordance with Resolution of Inten-
<br /> tion No. 2208 and the City Council being now in session,
<br /> proceeded to hear all protests presented.
<br />
<br /> No person appearing to protest or show any cause why
<br /> bonds should not be issued a resolution was introduced
<br /> determining the unpaid assessments for work and improve-
<br /> ment made upon. said streets, the aggregate thereof, dire,
<br /> ting bonds to be issued for the security of the unpaid
<br /> assessments, prescribing the denomination of said ~onds
<br /> and providing for the issuance of same in annual series.
<br /> The resolution was erdered filed, read, considered, desig
<br /> hated Resolution No.2292 and passed by the following vote
<br />
<br /> Ayes, Trustees W.J. Kelly, Stanley E. Goode,
<br /> F.L. Purinton.
<br />
<br /> Noes, Trustees None.
<br />
<br /> Absent, Trustees J.L. McBride, B.O. Sutton.

<br />An Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br /> "An Ordinance providing for holding a General Municipal
<br />Election in the City of Santa Ana, California, on the
<br />13th day of April, 1931, for the Election of City Offi-
<br />cers in said City, and voting upon the proposition for
<br />the increase of the salaries of the members of the City
<br />Council; giving notice of said election; designating the
<br />polling places, the hours during which the polls shall be
<br />opened, the officers to be elected, and appointing elec-
<br />tion officers to serve as said election."
