Cristich, Co~tractor, <br />petitioning the Council to release him from his bid sub- <br />mitted February 16th, 1931, for the improvement of <br />Richland Street between Flower and Shelton, was accepted <br />and placed on file. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Sutton and car- <br />ried, the applications from the Board of Education request <br />ing authorization to pmrchase property for school play- <br />groUnd purposes located on the southwest corner of <br /> <br />and Western Avenue and another piece of property known <br /> South one-half of <br />as/Lot ? Morse Villa Tract located on Flower Street <br /> <br />of Bishop Street, were granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Sutton,seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, Ralph Allen was appointed as a member of the Exam- <br />ining Board of Electricians to fill the vacancy left by <br />Herbert Haines. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by Sutton and car- <br /> <br />ried, the application of the Peniel Mission at 20? East <br />Fourth Street for permission to use Birch Park Sunday <br /> <br />afternoons from 1:30 to 2:30 P.M., was denied. <br /> <br /> <br />
