<br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and car-
<br />rieS, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according
<br />to demands audited by the Finance Committee.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and car-
<br />ried, the Street Superintendent was instructed to hold
<br />bonds for the improvement of South Patton Street until
<br />such time as the contractor, P. P. Janich, makes a satis-
<br />factory settlement on all claims.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car-
<br />ried, the City Council proceeded to open bids or proposal:
<br />for the improvement in Acquisition and Improvement Dis-
<br />t~ict No.9, known as the East Fourth Street Subway~ as

<br /> ried, all bids were referred to the Engineer for checking
<br /> to report back March 18th, 1931, at V:30 P.M.

<br />This being the time and place when and where interested
<br />persons might appear and show cause why bonds should not
<br />be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments for
<br />work done and improvement made upon Patton, St. Andrew,s,
<br />Sycamore, Broadway, Birch and Ross Street, in accordance
<br />with Resolution of Intention No. 2218 and the City Counci~
<br />being now in session, proceeded to hear all protests pre-
<br />sented. No person appearing to protest or show any cause
<br />why bonds should not be issued a resolution was introduce~
<br />determining the unpaid assessments for work and improve-
<br />ment made upon said streets, the aggregate thereof, direc.
<br />ting bonds to be issued for the security of the unpaid
<br />assessments, prescribing the denomination of s aid bonds
<br />and providing for the issuance of same in annual series.
<br />The resolution was ordered filed, read, considered,
<br />nated Resolution No. 2294 and passed by the following vote
<br />
