Plans & Spec. <br /> <br />Richland St. & Flower St. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and car- <br /> ried, the Chair was authorized to appoint a committee to <br /> investigate the explosion of six water heaters on South <br /> Sycamore Street at the time improvement was made on said <br /> street. Trustees McBride, Kelly and Goode appointed as <br /> the committee. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br /> ried, the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign agree- <br /> ment with Robert L. McClain covering the construction of <br /> an electric sign at 803 South Main Street, a portion of <br /> which electric sign extends over the five foot set-back <br /> line established by ordinance along Main Street. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br /> ried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrant in amount <br /> of $108.00 in favor of E, W. Hoag and Mrs. Stella E. Hoa~ <br /> to be paid to Orange County Title Co. When clear deed is <br /> given to corner of Chas.. E. Chatlain's property at ~the <br /> southwest corner of Bush and Santa Clara Avenue. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br /> ried, the property at the Northeast corner of Seventeent~ <br /> and Broadway was ordered posted for special uses and the <br /> hearing date set January 19th, in accordance with the <br /> application of the General Petroleum Corporation to erect <br /> a service station. <br /> <br /> This being the time and place set for the opening of <br /> bids on booster pump to be furnished the Water Department <br /> and the Council being in open session proceeded to open <br /> bids as follows: <br /> <br />Fairbanks-Morse Co.
