M. Stauffer for permis <br />sion to erect a duplex at 402 S. Garnsey Street, was <br />granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Witmer, seconded by HasenJaeger the <br />request of the Santa Ana Register for the City o~ Santa <br />Ana to advertise in the special edition devoted to the <br />Orange County Valencia Show and Fair, be denied. <br /> <br />No action taken on the motion. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the request of the S~ta Aha Register relative <br />to special edition, was taken under advisement for one we <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, <br />carried, Norman Sprowl and ~. <br /> <br />seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />B. Berry were appointed <br /> <br />special police officers of the City of Santa Aha, wSthout <br />pay. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Witmer and <br />carried, the request of Wm. C. Hoofer for the installa- <br />tion of a red electric light at the end of Grand Avenue <br />on the north side of his property, was referred to Mr. <br />Dudley of the Street Department for answer. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Witmer, seconded by HasenJaegerand <br />carried, the position of assistant build~ inspector <br />held by E. E. Patmor was declared vacant temporarily, on <br />account of lack o~'building in the City, same~to take <br />effect June 1st, 1931, allowing two weeks vacation. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />A resolution was introduced requesting Govenor Rolph, Jr. <br />to act favorably upon Assembly Bill No. 4 giving the <br />tidelands of Huntington Beach to the City and also giving <br />the City the power to drill-offset wells upon their own <br />tide lands. The resolution was ordered filed, read, con- <br />sidered, designated Resolution No. 2306 and passed by the <br />following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees E.G. Warner, Paul B.
