H. Eckles against <br /> taxi owners and d~ivers. <br /> <br /> On mo~ion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Witmer and car- <br /> ried, the communication of H. S. Pickard, Commander of <br /> the Disabled American Veterans of the World War commend- <br /> lng the City Council on their action in starting work <br /> at the Olive Bowl, was accepted and filed. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br /> <br /> carried, the application of Harry L. Chandler for the <br /> new <br /> as night watchman at the/Civic Center was referred to the <br /> <br /> Clerk with instructions to advise Mr. Chandler that thor, <br /> is ne Job open as night watchm-n. <br /> <br /> . <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger <br />carried, the application of J. S. Buxton for the ~ <br />of caretaker of the Santa Aha Playgrounds at Forest Home <br />was referred to the Purchasing Agent. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the communication of E. A. and Laura Sherman <br />protesting against the discontinuation of bus service, <br />was accepted and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Tz~astee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the application of Mr. iaetin representing <br />Bloom's Booterie at A06 N. Main Street requesting permis- <br />sion to hang a banner advertising a shoe sale in front <br />their store, was denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Witmer and <br />carried, and on recommendation of the Planning Commission <br />the property at 311 Fruit Street was ordered posted for <br />garage and the hearing date set Febr~Aa~y 1st, 19~2, at <br /> <br /> <br />
