On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- ried, the application of the Coca Cola Bottling Company for the rezoning of property at the southeast corner of First and A~tesia was referred to the Planning Commission. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted and the City Attorney instructed to prepare ordinance rezoning the southeast corner of First and A~tesia from Single Family Residence Zone to Neighborhoo~ Business Zone. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the bids of Wm. Rohrbacher amd Thermon Means on the Bower Memorial Museum were taken under advisement until Wednesday, January 27th, 1952, at ?:50 P.M. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- ried, the bond of James &Kreimer for Cement Sidewalk and Curbing was referred to the Chair for approval or disappr, On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- ried, and on recommendation of the Grand Jury the Water Superintendent was instructed t& install two additional fire hydrants at the Court House Annex. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seceded by Witmer and carried, the City Engineer was authorized to install two ~00 candle power suspension lights at the corner of and Garnsey Streets and at the corner of Bishop and Garn- soy Streets. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- ried, the Mayor. and Clerk were authorized to sign con- tract with Kovacevich and Price covering the installatioz of water services on West Seventeenth Street by the Water Department o£ the City of Santa Ans. A resolytlon was introduced accepting deeds executed~ Nancy J. Shields, formerly known as Nancy J. Crutchfield, ar~l M. J. Morrill in favor of the City of Santa Ana $over- lng property to be used for street purposes adjoining the project known as the Olive Bowl..
