In Re Employment Local Labor on Bowers Memorial Museum. 451 On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by McBride and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants accord- lng to demands audited by the F~uance Con~nittee. On motion of Trustee Witmer, seconded by Hasenjaeger and carried, R. L. Stearns was appointed a member of the Electrical Examining Board to fill the vacancy made by the expiration of E~R. Christiansents term of office. O~ motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- tied, the communication of the Orchard Heating Improvement Committee relative to the Ordinance adopted by the Coun- ties of Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside and urging the City ~ Santa Aha to pass a similar Ordinance regulating ~he uee of Orchard Heaters, was referred to the City Attorney. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the application of H. A. Shugart for permission to erect a garage at 311 Fruit Street was referred to the Planning Commission for recommendation. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by McBride and c ar- tied, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted and the application of H.A. Shugart wa~ granted. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the Santa Aha Municipal Band was authorized to give a concert February 22nd, 1932, at the High School Auditorium and if necessary eliminate one concert during the summer months if funds are not sufficient under the present budgete , On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the Mayor and Clerk were i~tructed to sign con- 'tract with William Rob_vbaeher covering the erection and completion of the building to be known as Charles W. Bowers Memorial Museum. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the bond of William Rohrbacher for faithful per- formance of work,in amount of $27,040.00, which is 50% of the amount of the contract on the Bowers Memorial Museum, was approved. The motion c/' Trustee Warnsr, seconded by HasenJaeger that Mr, William Rohrbaeher be ~equeated to have all of his sub-contractors employ local labor on the Bowers
