L. Stearns was appointed a member of the <br /> Electrical Examining Board to fill the vacancy made by <br /> the expiration of E~R. Christiansents term of office. <br /> <br /> O~ motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br /> tied, the communication of the Orchard Heating Improvement <br /> Committee relative to the Ordinance adopted by the Coun- <br /> ties of Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside and <br /> urging the City ~ Santa Aha to pass a similar Ordinance <br /> regulating ~he uee of Orchard Heaters, was referred to <br /> the City Attorney. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br /> carried, the application of H. A. Shugart for permission <br /> to erect a garage at 311 Fruit Street was referred to the <br /> Planning Commission for recommendation. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by McBride and c ar- <br /> tied, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was <br /> accepted and the application of H.A. Shugart wa~ granted. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br /> carried, the Santa Aha Municipal Band was authorized to <br /> give a concert February 22nd, 1932, at the High School <br /> Auditorium and if necessary eliminate one concert during <br /> the summer months if funds are not sufficient under the <br /> present budgete <br /> <br /> , <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the Mayor and Clerk were i~tructed to sign con- <br />'tract with William Rob_vbaeher covering the erection and <br />completion of the building to be known as Charles W. <br />Bowers Memorial Museum. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br /> carried, the bond of William Rohrbacher for faithful per- <br /> formance of work,in amount of $27,040.00, which is 50% <br /> of the amount of the contract on the Bowers Memorial <br /> Museum, was approved. <br /> <br /> The motion c/' Trustee Warnsr, seconded by HasenJaeger <br /> that Mr, William Rohrbaeher be ~equeated to have all of <br /> his sub-contractors employ local labor on the Bowers <br /> <br /> <br />
