Tubbs for permission to <br />cut the curb on No. Main Street approximately forty-one <br />feet and bn Washington Avenue approximately sixty-five <br />feet for driveway into a new Drive-In-Market Building <br />was granted according to plan submitted. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Witmer and car- <br />ried, the communication of the City Clerk of Fullerton <br />requesting the Council, together with the Councils of <br />neighboring con~nunittes, to pledge their cooperation with <br />the Board of Supervisors of Orange County in working out <br />a plan that would be county wide on the unemployment <br /> <br />situation, was Peferred to a <br />and MCBride'. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, <br />tied, the application of Mrs. <br /> <br />committee of Trustees Warner <br /> <br />seconded by Warner and car- <br />Hawley J. Selway for the <br /> <br /> position of matron of the Bowers Memorial Museum, was <br /> referred to the Bowers Memorial Museum Committee. <br /> <br /> On mo~ion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Witmer and <br /> carried, the application of D. H. Johnson and P~y Minnix <br /> to' conduct a public dancing academy in the building loca- <br /> ted at the northeast corner of Ross and Third Streets, <br /> was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the warrant in amount of $3479.?2 from the Sou- <br />~thern Counties Gas Company covering franchise tax for the <br />year ended December 31, 1931, was accepted and the Clerk <br />instructed t o deposit same. <br /> <br />Petitions were read with 1146 signatures attached request! <br />lng favorable consideration to the application of John H. <br />Wilson and Arthur K. Williams for permission to operate <br />a taxi business under the name of Independent Taxi. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by McBride and car- <br /> ried, the application of John H. Wilson and Arthur K. <br /> <br /> <br />
