Williams to conduct a taxicab business to be known as the Independent Taxi at Third and Spumgeon Streets, was denie, on the grounds that the necessity does not exist at the present time for an additional taxicab business. , On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by McBride and car- ried, it was decided not to advertise in this yearls issue of the California Real Estate Magazine. A resolution adopted by the City of Los Angeles designa- ting Southern California Prosperity Week, March Vth ko 12th, 1932, urging the purchase of products manufactured in Southern California, was ~dopted, on motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by McBride and car- tied, the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign contract with C. E. Price covering the leasing of the hog ranch for a period of two years, comen~lng February 1st, 1532, to January 31st, 1934, and the purchase of all garbage from the City of Santa Ans. The minimum rental for said ranch being $100.00 per month and the maximum rental $250.00 per month~ With additional increases according t¢ i~at hR prices. On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Witmer and carried, sidewalks were ordered installed in front of property owned by Thornton, Humphre~ and Fields on the west side of South Main Street below Pomona Avenue for approximately 660 feet as agreed by property owners or show cause why installation cannot be made. An Ordinance entitled: "An0rdlnance of the City of Santa Ana, regulating the Issuance of Permits for Food-Handling Businesses and the extermination of and prevention of Rodents in such establishments; and providing a penalty for the violation thereof." was finally read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 955 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, E.G. Warner, Paul B. Wltmer, A.C. HasenJaeger, John Knox. Noes, Trustees None. Absent, Trustees None. An Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance creating a Board of Forestry of the City of Santa Aha under the Jurisdiction of the Planning Commi~ sion, regulating the planting, removal, maintenance and care of trees, plants and shrubs on public streets and parkways and repealing Ordinance No. 857 approved October 29th,
