439 City Council met in regular adjoUrned session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Knox. Present: Trustees J.L. McBride, E.G. Warner, Paul B. Witmer, A.C. HasenJaeger, John Knox. Absent: Trustees None. In Re Meeting of Met. Water Dist. Im Re Communication First National Bank. In Re Oommunication G. A. Raymer. Application Mrs. Ohos. L. Davis. In Re Application Frank Crutchfield. In Re Decision of Railroad Commission. Santa Aha City Hall. January llth, 1932. 7:30 P.M. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by McBride and carried, the Chair was authorized to appoint a committee to attend the meetin~ of the Metropolitan Water District at McFarland's Cafe in Fmllerton, January 16th, 1952, at 2 P.M. T~ustee McBride was appointed aa the committee. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Hasen~aeger and carried, the co. mmunication of The First National Bank stating that the plans and specificatioms for the Bowers Memorial Museum are acceptable to the Bank but it does not assume amy liability as to payment azd ~ae cost of erection excepting um~der Trust No. 5B, was accepted and placed on file. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by McBride and carried, the communication from the Chairman of the Presi dent ts Unemployment Relief Committee of Orange County Industrial Department soliciti~g cooperation in buying products manufactured in orange County, was accepted ~a filed. O~ motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Wa~ner and carried, the application of Mrs. Ohos. L. Davis for a free license to sell the official Olympic Games Booster Plates was referred to a committee to investigate. Trustees Warner and Witmer were appointed as the eommitte On motion of Trustee Wi~er, seconded by Warner and car- ried, the application of Frank Crutchfield for a Job as ~ighZwatchman at the Olive Bowl, was referred to the City E~gineer. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the decision of the Railroad Commission of the State of California granting the application of the Pacific Electric Railway Company permission to freight service between Orange and Santa Aha, was and filed.
