Bordon. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car. <br />tied, the application of C. H. Melner, Chairman of the <br />Unemployment Association of Santa Ana, requesting permis- <br />sion to hold a "Tag Day", Saturday April 30th, for the <br />purpose of raising funds for their Association, was <br />referred to the Executive Committee of Unemployment with <br />power to act. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the communication of the Orange County Farm <br />Bureau relative to discussing sewage reclamation through- <br />out the Santa Ana Basin, was referred to Trustee McBride. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Hasenjaeger and <br />carried, a temporary permit was ordered issued to E. P. <br />Grant to sell cold drinks, ice cream, etc. from his truck <br />at 819 W. Sixth Street, during the baseball season. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Witmer snd car- <br />ried, the C_hair was authorized to appoint a committee to <br />investigate the application of John H. Nuss for conc~ssio~ <br />rights at the Bowl during baseball season to sell soft <br />drinks, ice cream, etc., agreeing to pay the City ten per <br />cent of the net profits derived from such sales and to <br />clean up any refuse which may accumulate after each game. <br />Trustees Warner and Witmer were appointed as committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, secoD~ed by Hasenjaeger and <br />carried, the application of James Brooks for the job as <br />caretaker or watchman at the Bowers Memorial Museum, was <br />referred to the Bowers Memorial Museum Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by McBride and <br />carried, the application of N. Bordon for permission to <br />buy and sell used clothing in connection with his Cloth- <br />ing and Tailoring Shop at 318 E. Fourth Street, was <br />referred to the Chief of Police to report back in one weel <br /> <br /> <br />
