Council being duly convened in open session, lm~oceeded to hear and pass upon all protests presented. A protest signed by J. I. Clark was read against the assessment on his'property located at 1611 N. Broadway, being 210 feet south of Seventeenth Street, and after due consideration the Council, on motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the protest was A resolution overruling protests or objections to assess- ment, approving assessment and ordering the Street Super- intendent to attach warrant and record, was duly intro- duced, read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2336 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees: J.L. McBride, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Noes, Trustees None. Absent, Trustees None. An Ordinance was introduced amending Section 94 of License Ordinance No. 6?8 licensing vehicles, automobiles or motor vehicles carrying o~ any business in the City of Santa Aha The Ordinance was read, considered and referred back to the City Attorney. An Ordinance was introduced to change the name of Eucalyp- tus Street to Jefferson Place in the City of Santa Ana. The Ordinance was read, considered and referred back to the City Attorney.
