498 Santa Ana City Hall. June 20th, 1932. 7:30 P.M. City Cotmcil met in regular session. Meeting called to order, by Mayor Witmer. Present: Trustees J.L. McBride, E.G. Warner, N.H. Penn, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Absent: Trustees None. Minutes Of meetings of June 6th and 13th were approved .as read. In Re Request Chas. G. Monroe. Inc. In Re Request of Kovacevich & Price, In Re Protest of Martha D. Peters. In Re Health Report. In Re Application McCltntock & Walker. In Re Electric Signs. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the request of Chas. G. Monroe to place an insurance policy on the Bowers Memorial Museum for three years when building is completed, was referred to the Purchasing Agent. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- ried, the request of Kovacevich & Price, Inc., for an extension of sixty days time to complete the work on West Seventeenth Street, was granted. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the protest of Martha D. Peters, 208 N. Lacy Street, against the granting of a permit to hold a barbe- cue July 4th, at 719 E. Second Street, which causes tense heat, smoke and stench, was accepted and filed for fhture reference · On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- ried, the report of the Orange Cottaty Health Depart~ent for the month of May, was referred to the Finance Committ~ On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the application of Clarence McOlint~ and Harve K. Walker for permissi~ to erect a lath house in which to sell fruit and produce at the southeast corner of First and Hathaway, was referred to the Planning Commis- sion. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commis- sion was accepted and the application of McClintock and Walker was denied as not conforming with buildihg regu- lations in the business zone. O~ motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- ried, the applicationsof Electrical Contractors to hang electrical signs were granted under supervision of the companies owning signs Electrical Inspector subject to/paying licenses in arrear~
