G. Monroe to place an <br />insurance policy on the Bowers Memorial Museum for three <br />years when building is completed, was referred to the <br />Purchasing Agent. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the request of Kovacevich & Price, Inc., for an <br />extension of sixty days time to complete the work on West <br />Seventeenth Street, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the protest of Martha D. Peters, 208 N. Lacy <br />Street, against the granting of a permit to hold a barbe- <br />cue July 4th, at 719 E. Second Street, which causes <br />tense heat, smoke and stench, was accepted and filed for <br />fhture reference · <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the report of the Orange Cottaty Health Depart~ent <br />for the month of May, was referred to the Finance Committ~ <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the application of Clarence McOlint~ and Harve <br />K. Walker for permissi~ to erect a lath house in which <br /> <br />to sell fruit and produce at the southeast corner of <br /> <br />First and Hathaway, was referred to the Planning Commis- <br />sion. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner <br />and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commis- <br />sion was accepted and the application of McClintock and <br />Walker was denied as not conforming with buildihg regu- <br />lations in the business zone. <br /> <br />O~ motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the applicationsof Electrical Contractors to hang <br /> <br />electrical signs were granted under supervision of the <br />companies owning signs <br />Electrical Inspector subject to/paying licenses in arrear~ <br /> <br /> <br />
