Teigan. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried <br /> the application of H. S. Pettigrew to conduct the auto <br /> wrecking business at 91§ E. First Street, was granted. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger,~ seconded by Warner and <br /> carried, the warrant in amount of $5,035.23 from the <br /> Southern California Telephone Company covering 2% of gros <br /> receipts from August 20, 1932 to October 12, 19~, inclu- <br /> sive, under franchise granted by Ordinance No. 965, was <br /> accepted and Clerk instructed to deposit same. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and <br /> carried, the communication and Ordinance No. 40 of the <br /> <br /> Metropolitan Water District, were received and the Clerk <br />· instructed to post Ordinance on bulletin board· <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried <br /> the Health Report for the months of July, August and <br /> September, 19~, was referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br /> ried, the resignation of W. H. Hamil as Poundmaster of <br /> the City was accepted as of October ~lst, <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br /> carried, the application of J. H. Smith to sell on-sale <br /> beverages at 314 W. Fourth Street, was granted with the <br /> provision that license will be revoked if the person or <br /> firm does not comply with the Ordinance regulating said <br /> <br /> buaine ss · <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried <br /> the recommendation of the Planning Commission was accep- <br /> ted and the application of Dr. E. Teigan for a permit to <br /> to practice his profession as chiropractor at 711 So. <br /> Broadway, was denied for the reason that it is in viola- <br /> tion of the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />
