W. Garvin,~ Eicense Inspectors, were <br />appointed special police officers of the City, without <br />pay. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br />ried, Harold D. Picketing was appointed Poundmaster of <br />the City as of November 1st, 1933, with a salary of $1.00 <br />per month plus seventy-five per cent of the collection <br />on dog licenses. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br /> <br />carried, the City Council adjourned to Monday, October <br />30th, 1933, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber. <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />Mayor of the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />Santa Ana City Hall. <br /> <br />October 30th, 1933. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular adjourned meeting. <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Witmer. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees A.F. Thurnaer protesting <br />against the appointment of Harold Picketing as Poundmaste~ <br />of the City and citing reasons why he should not be <br />appointed, was received and filed for future reference. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Hasenjaeger and <br />carried, the communication from the American Legion of <br />Orange accepting the offer of the City Council to use~ the <br />Municipal Bowl for a horse show to be held in conjunction <br />with the Armistice Day Celebration in Orange, was receive~ <br />and filed. <br /> <br /> <br />
