In Re Special Police. In Re Appointment of Poundmaster. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried Earl Lentz and Wm. W. Garvin,~ Eicense Inspectors, were appointed special police officers of the City, without pay. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- ried, Harold D. Picketing was appointed Poundmaster of the City as of November 1st, 1933, with a salary of $1.00 per month plus seventy-five per cent of the collection on dog licenses. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and carried, the City Council adjourned to Monday, October 30th, 1933, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber. APPROVED: Mayor of the City of Santa Ana. Santa Ana City Hall. October 30th, 1933. 7:30 P.M. City Council met in regular adjourned meeting. Meeting called to order by Mayor Witmer. Present: Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A.C. Hasenjaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Absent: Trustees None. In Re Communication Mrs. R.M. Thurnaer. In Re Horse Show in Municipal Bowl. On motion of Trustee Warnem, seconded by LeGaye and car- ried, the communication of Mrs. R.M. Thurnaer protesting against the appointment of Harold Picketing as Poundmaste~ of the City and citing reasons why he should not be appointed, was received and filed for future reference. ,, On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Hasenjaeger and carried, the communication from the American Legion of Orange accepting the offer of the City Council to use~ the Municipal Bowl for a horse show to be held in conjunction with the Armistice Day Celebration in Orange, was receive~ and filed.
