On motion of <br /> <br />seconded by Warner and carried, the City <br />instructed to install the flag pole at the <br /> <br />Jack Fisher Park with R.F.C. labor. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and at the <br />request of Otto Jacobs, representing property owners, a <br />motion was made by Trustee Penn, seconded by HasenJaeger <br />and carried, to continue the hearing for one week on the <br />application of Chas. E. and Lulu B. Chatlain for the re- <br />zoning of property at Bush and Senta Clara Avenue to con- <br />duct a nursery. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br />ried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was <br />accepted and the application of the Santa Arm Community <br />Players Association to erect a meeting hall on city pro- <br />perty at the northeast corner of Twentieth and Main <br />Streets, was laid on the table for one week. <br /> <br />The request of the Union Oil COmpany of California that <br /> <br />the City Council proceed to close up, vacate and abandon <br />~oortion of <br />a/certain alley located between First Street, Walnut <br /> <br />Street, Evergreen and Minnie Street, cost incurred in <br /> <br />such vacation to be paid by the Union Oil Company. <br />No action was taken on the request. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, <br />carried, the Mayor and Clerk were <br /> <br />seconded by Warner and <br />authorized to sign an <br /> <br />agreement with the Forestry Departmen~ of San Bernardino <br />National Forest permitting the Department to connect with <br />pipelines owned by Santa Ana at Forest H~me Camp Grounds, <br />to bear all expenses in making connections, install tees <br />and plugs in their line, maintain their own line and <br />agreeing to bear 50~ of cost of maintenance of Santa Ana,~ <br />line and install meters at connection to comlmute their <br />consump ti on · <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br />ried, Roch Bradshaw was appointed special police officer <br />of the City of Santa Arm without pay. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, it was resolved that the City of Santa Ana, a <br />Municipal Corporationl, accept from J. William Sackman <br />and Gertrude E. Sackman, husband and wife, the conveyance <br />of property on. Olive Street between Sixth and Eighth <br />Streets for street purposes. <br /> <br /> <br />
