City Council met in regular adjourned session. <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Witmer. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, <br />W.H. Penn, A.C. Hasenjaeger, Paul B. Witmer. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Civil Works <br /> <br />Administration. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />Mrs. RoM. Thurnaer. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Jesus Gastele. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application to <br /> <br />Sell Beverages. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Veterans Foreign Wars. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application of <br /> <br />Chas. E. & Lulu B. <br /> <br />Chatlain. <br /> <br />Santa Ana City Hall. <br /> <br />November 27th, 1933. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded, by Penn and <br />carried, the communication from Harold Pomeroy, Field <br />Agent of the League of California Municipalities, with <br />reference to the City planning projects under the Civil <br />Works Administration, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seoonded by Penn and <br />carried, the communication of Mrs. R. M. Thurnaer <br />requesting the Council to pass an Ordinance whereby any- <br />one poisoning cats or dogs could be prosecuted, was <br />referred to the City Attorney and Poundmaster. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and car- <br />ried, the application of.Jesus Gastele for a permit to <br />operate a Pool Hall at 2026 W. Fifth Street, was granted <br /> <br />on recommendation of the Chief of <br />Commissioner. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hhsenjaeger, <br />carried, the application of W. S. <br />sell On-Sale Beverages at 506A N. <br /> <br />Police and Police <br /> <br />seconded by LeGaye and <br />Proctor for license to <br /> <br />Main Street, was <br /> <br />granted with the provision that license will be revoked <br />if applicant does not comply with the Ordinance regulat- <br />ing said business. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the application of the Veterans of Foreign Wars <br />for a fre~ license to sell Christmas trees for the <br />holidays, was granted. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />Protests having beef~ withdrawn, on motion of Trustee <br />Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the appli- <br />cation of Chas. E. and Lulu B. Chatlain for the rezoning <br />of property at Bush and Santa Clara Avenue to conduct a <br />nursery, was referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission <br />was accepted and the application of Chas E. and Lulu B. <br />Chatlain to conduct a nursery at Bush and Santa Clara <br /> <br /> <br />
