APPROVED: Avenue, was granted under On motion of Trustee Penn, special uses. seconded by Hasenjaeger and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted and the hearing was continued for two weeks on the application of the Santa Ana Community Players Association to erect a building at Twentieth and Main Sts. On motion of Trustee LeGaye, seconded by Warner and car- ried, the Clerk was instructed to cite Julia Sultzer to appear before the City Council, December 4th, 1933, at 7:30 P.M., to show cause why her license to sell beverage~ should not be revoked. On motion of Trustee Penn,seconded by Hasenjaeger and car. tied, the City Attorney was instructed to notify Mrs. Campbell, owner of property at 915 W. Walnut Street, that her building is a fire menace and must be removed. On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the projects as submitted by the City Engineer giving work to 185 men under the Civil Works Administra- tion program, were approved. On motion of Trustee LeGaye, seconded by Penn and carried the City Engineer was instructed to interview the Board of Supervisors of Orange County with reference to openiug S. Main Street as a possible project under the Civil Works Administration program. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried the City Engineer was instructed to check up on the right. of-way for drainage ditch south of Santa Ana for storm drain to care for excess flood waters, as a possible pro- ject under the Civil Works Administration program. On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and carried, the City Council'adjourned. City ~le~k. ~ayor of the City of Santa Ana.
