McBride, E.G. Warner, <br />W.H. Penn, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witm~r. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br />Minutes of meetings of January 16th, and 30th were approved. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />Los Angeles County <br /> <br />League of ~{unicipalities. <br /> <br />23rd <br /> <br />In ~le <br /> <br />Monthly Reports. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Monthly ~arrants. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />E. L. Vegely <br /> <br />Leave of Absence. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Solicitors <br /> <br />for Missions, etc. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Clyde C. Downing <br /> <br />Leave of Absence. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Salaries <br /> <br />City Employees. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br /> <br />carried, the communication from the Los Angeles County <br />League of Municipalities relative to meeting to be held <br /> <br />February 9th at 6:30 P.M. in the City Hall Auditorium at <br /> <br />San Gabriel, was accepted and placed on file. <br /> <br />0n motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br /> <br />carried, the reports of City Officers <br />January, were referred to the Finance <br /> <br />for the month of <br />Con,nit tee · <br /> <br />On mo~ion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried <br />the Clerk was instructed to d~aw warrants covering demand: <br />audited by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried <br /> <br />E. L. Vegely, City Clerk, was granted a ten day leave of <br /> <br />absence from the State. <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried <br />the Chair was authorized to appoint a committee to inves- <br /> <br />tigate the necessity of passing an ordinance to prohibit <br /> the <br />soliciting for missions and benevolent soc~ies ~utSlde/ <br /> <br />City. Trustees Penn, Warner, McBride, City Attorney and <br />Chief of Police were appointed as the committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried <br />Clyde C. Downing, City Attorney was ~ranted five days <br />leave of absence from the State. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by McBride and car- <br />tied, con~nencing March 1st, 1933~ all employees working <br />six days a week are to work five and one-half days and <br />all employees working five and one-half days will work <br />five days a week with the exception of Police, Fire and <br />Water Plant Operators, who are to work the same number <br />of days but are to receive a five porcent reduction in · <br />salary. <br /> <br /> <br />
