Santa Ana City Hall. December llth, 1933. V:30 P.M. City Council met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Witmer. Preaent: Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A.C. Hasenjaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Absent: Trustees None. In Re Pool Hall C. C. Taylor. In Re Electric Sign. In He Application Irc Weir. In Re ~ Applic~tion Or. Co. Athletic Club. In Re Request Frank Lansdown On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the communication from the Superintendent of the Santa Ana City Schools inviting the Council .to meet with the Board of Education December 12th at V:30 P.M. relatiw to the most desirable procedure in connection with the rehabilitation of Santa Ana's schools, was received and all members of Council urged to attend meeting. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried the application of C. C. Taylor to conduct the Pool Hall at 902 E. Fourth Street, was granted on recommendation of the Chief of Police and Police Commissioner. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried. the application of the Cope Electric Company fo~ permissio to re-hang an electric sign for the Headley Motor Company at llV N. Sycamore Street, was granted under supervision of the Electrical Inspector. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded b~ HasenJaeger and carried, the application of Ivo Weir for permission to cmaduct a miniature automobile race track at the north- west corner of Second and French Streets, was referred to a committee appointed by the Chair. Trustees Warner and Perm were appointed as the committee. ,, On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried for permit the application of the Orange County Athletic Club/to conduct Boxing and Vgrestling Matches at 308 E. Third Street, was taken under advisement for one week. On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by LeGaye and carried, the request of Frank Lansdown for the privilege of submitting a design for Santa Anats proposed City Hall for the consideration of the Council if bonds should carry on said building, was granted.
