APPROVED: acknowledging receipt of Resolution Mo. 2:549 adopted by the City CounClX endorsing Assembly Bill No. 1172, was receiwed and filed. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by EasenJaeger and carried~ th~ 'communication of the City of ~oronado questing cooperati°n in the passage of Assembly Bill No. 1563 effectin~ developement of motor boat and yacht facilities along the coast and waterways of California, was referred to the Finance Con~ittee. On motion of T~ustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried the reeommenda~on of the Street C*~.-.~issioner was and the petition of merchants in the 1500 and 1600 blocks on So. Main Street to open alleyway between Main and Sycamore Streets in said blocks, was denied. On motion 9f Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and carried~ the grant deed from Grace 8. Smith, Stewart covering easement Smith and others/for street purposes over Lots A and B of T~act No. 730, was accepted and the Clerk inst~mcted to have deed recorded. On motion of Tx, xstee HasenJaeger, seconded ~y Penn and tied, the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign contract with the B~on Jackson Company covering the purchase of one electric d~iven Deepwell Turbine Pump and Motor at the price of $29~2.85. # O~motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the matter relative to pr~biting soliciting for missions and benevolent soc~es located outside the City of ~a~ta ~, w aa laid on the table pending proposed State Legislation on solicitors. A~ Ordinance was introduced relating to and providing for the levy of a license tax upon and regulating the business of portrait and commercial photography in the City of Santa A~a. The Ordinance was read, considered and refer- red back to the City Attorney.. O~ motion of Trustee NasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the City Couneil adjourned to Monday, February 27th, 1933, at ?:30 P.M., in. the Council Ch-mber. city
