Main Street to open alleyway between Main and <br /> Sycamore Streets in said blocks, was denied. <br /> <br /> On motion 9f Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br /> <br /> carried~ the grant deed from Grace 8. Smith, Stewart <br /> covering easement <br /> Smith and others/for street purposes over Lots A and B <br /> <br /> of T~act No. 730, was accepted and the Clerk inst~mcted <br /> to have deed recorded. <br /> <br /> On motion of Tx, xstee HasenJaeger, seconded ~y Penn and <br /> tied, the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign contract <br /> with the B~on Jackson Company covering the purchase of <br /> one electric d~iven Deepwell Turbine Pump and Motor at <br /> the price of $29~2.85. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />O~motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the matter relative to pr~biting soliciting <br />for missions and benevolent soc~es located outside the <br />City of ~a~ta ~, w aa laid on the table pending proposed <br />State Legislation on solicitors. <br /> <br />A~ Ordinance was introduced relating to and providing for <br />the levy of a license tax upon and regulating the business <br />of portrait and commercial photography in the City of <br />Santa A~a.
