Santa Aha City Hall. February 27, 19~5. 7:30 P.M. City Council met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Witmer. Present= Trustees A.F. LeGay®, E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, A.C. EasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Absent: Trustees None. In Re Communication Austin & Lansdown. In Re Application' C. P. McDowell. In Re Electric Sign. In Re Diversion of Gasoline Tax Money. In Re Application Local Order of Oddfellows.· In Re Proposed Water Bill. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and carried, the communication from Austin and Lansdown with reference to having additional decorative work done by Mr. Martin Syvertsen in the Bowers Memorial Museum, was referred to the Museum Board for recommendation. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried the application of C. P. McDowell, 121 So. Daisy Street, for the position of Poundmaster of the City, was received and filed. . On motion of T~ustee EasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried,-the application of the Robertson Electric Corp. ' for permiSsion to hangan electric sign for Arnolds Frock ~hop at 20? W. Fourth Street, was granted under supervi- sion of the Electrical Inspector. A co,w,unication was read from Rolland A~ Vandegrift, Director of Finance,relative to securing the passage of an u~gency measure providing for the payment of from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Revenues to the General Fund as a reimbursement for highway bond interest and redemp- tion. On motion of Trustee EasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the zequest Of Rolland A. Vandegrift urging support of the measure for the diversion of Gaso- line Tax Money to the General Fund was denied and endorse. ment was given the League of California Municipalities opposing this diversion. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried the application of the Local Order of Oddfellows for per~ mission to use ~he Municipal Bowl for parade and enter- tainment to be held April 29th and 30th, 1933, was grante, On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried the City Attorney was instructed to secure a copy of the proposed water bill relative to the control of water a~ the creation of a water district in Orange County, and report Back at the next meeting,
