LeGay®, E.G. Warner, <br />W.H. Penn, A.C. EasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />Austin & Lansdown. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application' <br /> <br />C. P. McDowell. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Electric Sign. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Diversion of <br /> <br />Gasoline Tax Money. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Local Order of Oddfellows.· <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Proposed Water Bill. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and <br /> carried, the communication from Austin and Lansdown with <br /> reference to having additional decorative work done by <br /> Mr. Martin Syvertsen in the Bowers Memorial Museum, was <br /> referred to the Museum Board for recommendation. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried <br /> the application of C. P. McDowell, 121 So. Daisy Street, <br /> for the position of Poundmaster of the City, was received <br /> and filed. <br /> <br /> . <br /> <br /> On motion of T~ustee EasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br /> <br /> carried,-the application of the Robertson Electric Corp. <br /> <br />' for permiSsion to hangan electric sign for Arnolds Frock <br /> ~hop at 20? W. Fourth Street, was granted under supervi- <br /> sion of the Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br /> A co,w,unication was read from Rolland A~ Vandegrift, <br /> Director of Finance,relative to securing the passage of <br /> an u~gency measure providing for the payment of <br /> from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Revenues to the General Fund <br /> as a reimbursement for highway bond interest and redemp- <br /> tion. On motion of Trustee EasenJaeger, seconded by <br /> Warner and carried, the zequest Of Rolland A. Vandegrift <br /> urging support of the measure for the diversion of Gaso- <br /> line Tax Money to the General Fund was denied and endorse. <br /> ment was given the League of California Municipalities <br /> opposing this diversion. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried <br />the application of the Local Order of Oddfellows for per~ <br />mission to use ~he Municipal Bowl for parade and enter- <br />tainment to be held April 29th and 30th, 1933, was grante, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried <br />the City Attorney was instructed to secure a copy of the <br />proposed water bill relative to the control of water a~ <br />the creation of a water district in Orange County, and <br />report Back at the next meeting, <br /> <br /> <br />
