Witmer. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Congratulatory Address <br /> <br />Of Residents for Prohibition. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br /> S.A. Realty Board. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Charles Burns. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Warrant from <br /> <br />Sou. Counties <br /> <br />Gas CO. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petition to <br /> <br />Open Sidewalk--N. <br /> <br />Sycamore St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Protest on J.0.Sewer <br /> <br />Fountain Valley Land Owner's Assn. <br /> <br />Santa Aha City Hall. <br /> <br />March 2Vth, 193~. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />A congratulatory address signed by approximately 1~-00 <br />residents of the City expressing support and apreciation <br />of the existing liquor regulations, together with <br />petitions of Sunday School Classes, Bible Classes and <br />Chumch organizations favoring prohibition in Santa Ana, <br />were read. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner <br />and carried, the congratulatory address and petitions <br />were accepted and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and <br />carried, the communication from the Santa Aha Realty <br />Board complimenting the City Council, Police Department <br />and other organizations for the manner in which <br />recent emergency was handled, was accepted and filed. <br /> <br />On motic~ of Trustee WasenJae~er, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the application of C2sarles Bur~s for permission <br />to conduct a pool hall at 408 E. Fourth Street, was <br />referred to the Chief of Police and Police Commissioner <br />for investigation. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, the warrant in s~nount of $3550.20 from the <br />Southern Counties Gas Company covering franahise tax for <br />year ending December 51st, 1932, was accepted and the <br />Clerk instructed to deposit same. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />A petition signed by merchants requesting the opening of <br />sidewalk~ for public use in front of the Rossmore Hotel <br />extending from Fourth Street to the alley on the north <br />of the hotel building, was read. On motion of Trustee <br />Warner, seconded by Penn and carried, the petition was <br />referred to the City Engineer with power to act. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the communication from the Fountain' Valley Land <br />0wner~s Association with Resolution attached protesting <br />against the present condition of the Santa Aha Joint <br />0utfall Sewer and requesting immediate action in the <br /> <br /> <br />
