On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and carried, the communication of the Santa Aha Lodge No.794 B.P.O.E. expressin6 their appreciation for th$ use of the Municipal Bowl for the Flag Day Services, held Wednesday night ~une 14th, was received and filed. . 'On motion of T~ustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried~ to arrange ~ the Council aa'a whole were appointed as a con,nitres/to | meet.with the Board of Education f~ the purpose of dis- cussing a plan or proposition to acquire the Frances Willard School property. ~rs. Roy Hortomand a eommittee.~representing the Playgrouzd Commission appeared before the Council requesting a dona- tion of $800.00 for playground purposes for the On motion of Trustee NasenJaeger, seconded by Penn carried, it was decided to donate the sum of $800.00 to the Playground Commission for recreational purposes for ~Bb~o1 childre~ for a period of eight weeka~ during the ~tlr~er months. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the s~n at the corner of Buaro Road reading "~anta Ama City Dump" was ordered removed in accordance with the request of the United Mortgage & Loan Assn. for removal of sign near thei~ property. On motion of Trus- tee EasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the action with reference to City Dump sign was rescinded. On motion of Trustee penn, seconded by Warner and car- ried, the c~mmunication of the United Mortgage & Loan Assn. requesting removal of "~anta ~ City Dump" sign at the corner of Buaro Road, was referred to the Street ~uperintendent for investigation. On motion of Trustee Penn, secomded by NasenJaeger and carried, the invitation to attend the 0r-~ge County League of California Municipalities dinner meeting at
