On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warne~ and carried, the communication amd copies of Ordinances No. 36 and 37 of the Metropolitan Water District were receive, and filed and Clerk instructed t0~'post Ordinances. On motion of-Trustee NasenJaeger, seemded by LeGaye and carried, the City ~ttorney was instructed to make applica- tion to the Unified Rehabilitation Corporation for a loan to the City of ~anta Ann for the repair of earthquake damage. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, secc~ded ~ry Warner and carried, the application of Juan M. Ramirez for permissioz to operate a pool hall at 903 E. Fourth Street, was denied on recommendation of the Police Commissioner. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried, theapplication of J. S. Klepper for pemmission to operate the pool hell at 406 E. Fourth Street, was granted as recommended by the Police Commissioner. On motion of Trustee warner, seconded by Penn and carried. the application of C. F. ~ldleman, owner of the Courtesy Cab Company, for permission to stand one or more of his taxicabs upon parking lot at 505 N. Broadway, was granted On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- tied, ~A. ustee W. H. Penn, was granted permiscion to leave the ~tate until July 20th, 1935. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- ried, the report of the City A~torney was accepted, stat- img that C. w. Eck. les has made satisfactory arrangements on the payment of his ~et~nquent license on auto busses and the sum of $~$.00 now on file be accepted for the ClLPrent license · On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried the City Engineer was instructed to make a survey to dete! mine the cost of building bleachers on the west side of the ~unicipal Bowl and using the lumber taken from thc old city hall.
