V:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City O~Ancil met in regular adjourned session. <br />Meeting Ualled to order by Mayor Witmer. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees A.F.~LeOaye, E.G. Warner, <br /> A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustees W,H~.Penn. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Calif. Rodeo <br /> <br />in Salines. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />S.A. Realty Board. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petition Against <br /> <br />Permit to Dysart & Dysart. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Applications <br /> <br />Taxicab Drivers. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and <br /> carried, the communication from the Secretary of the <br /> California Rodeo at Salinae relative to the selection of <br /> a candidate from Santa Aha to compete in the "Finest <br /> Outdoor Girl of California" Contest, was refeF~ed to the <br /> Committee appointed for the selection of a candidate. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br /> carried, the communication of the Santa Aha Realty Board <br /> unanimously favoring the City owned site at Third and <br /> Main Streets for construction of a city hall building and <br /> opposing Birch Park as a city hall site, was received and <br /> filed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee WasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br /> carried, the petition of property owners and residents <br /> within a two block radius of 803 South Main Street, requea <br /> ing the Council to refuse a permit to the f~'~m of Dysart <br /> & Dysart for the sale of beer at said address, was refer- <br /> red to the City Attorney and the Chief of Police. <br /> <br />~On'motion of Trustee LeGaye, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the applications of Edgar Scott Waddle and George <br />Edward Waddle for permits to drive taxicabs in the City, <br />were referred to the Taxicab Commission and on their <br />recommendation the applications were granted. <br /> <br /> <br />
