APPROV~: Mayor of' the City of Santa Aha. Santa Aha City Hall. July 10th, 1933. V:30 P.M. City O~Ancil met in regular adjourned session. Meeting Ualled to order by Mayor Witmer. Present: Trustees A.F.~LeOaye, E.G. Warner, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. Absent: Trustees W,H~.Penn. In Re Calif. Rodeo in Salines. In Re Communication S.A. Realty Board. In Re Petition Against Permit to Dysart & Dysart. In Re Applications Taxicab Drivers. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and carried, the communication from the Secretary of the California Rodeo at Salinae relative to the selection of a candidate from Santa Aha to compete in the "Finest Outdoor Girl of California" Contest, was refeF~ed to the Committee appointed for the selection of a candidate. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the communication of the Santa Aha Realty Board unanimously favoring the City owned site at Third and Main Streets for construction of a city hall building and opposing Birch Park as a city hall site, was received and filed. On motion of Trustee WasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the petition of property owners and residents within a two block radius of 803 South Main Street, requea ing the Council to refuse a permit to the f~'~m of Dysart & Dysart for the sale of beer at said address, was refer- red to the City Attorney and the Chief of Police. ~On'motion of Trustee LeGaye, seconded by Warner and car- ried, the applications of Edgar Scott Waddle and George Edward Waddle for permits to drive taxicabs in the City, were referred to the Taxicab Commission and on their recommendation the applications were granted.
