Meyers for a permit <br />to operate two taxicabs under the name of"Broadway Cab" <br />at 308 N. Broadway, was re~erred to the Taxicab Comml ssion <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the communication and Ordinance No. 38 of the <br />Metropolitan Water D~strict were received and the Clerk <br />instructed to post Ordinance No. 38 on the bulletin board. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and <br />carried, the communication of Mrs. Barbara Caroline Ralph <br />offering to sell her property at the northeast corner of <br />Second and Freaah Streets for a City Hall site, was receiv <br />and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the property known as the third lot south of <br />Bishop Street on Main Street was ordered posted for spec- <br />ial usee and the hearing date set July l?th, 193~, in <br />accordance with the application of James R. Wilbur for a <br />permit to erect a stucco, lath and glass bulb and nursery <br /> <br />sales rool~. <br /> <br />Oa motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and <br />carried, the cormmanication of W. B. Hampton stating hie <br />intention to conduct an auction one day each week, hand- <br />ling both his own stock and merchandise for private par- <br />ties, was received and filed. <br /> <br />An Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance 'amending Ordinance Nc. 658, passed on <br />November 3(~, 1920, and amendments themeto, entitled "An <br />Ordinance providing for the licensing of business, shows, <br />exhibitions and games conducted or carried on in the City <br />of Santa Ann, fixing the rate of license therefor and <br />providing for.collection thereof" by adding a new section <br />thereto to be numbered Section 100" <br /> <br />was finally read, considered, designated Ordinance No. <br />979 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees A.F.
