On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warne~ and carried, the agreement between the Board of Education and the City of Santa Aha permitting the use of the play- ground facilities of the Spurgeon, Lincoln and Franklin Schools for s,m..er playground activities, was referred to the City Attorney. # On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and carried, applications for permits to sell legal beverages were denied on recommendation of the beverage committee, as follows: A. On motion of Trustee EasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and carried, the following Resolution No, 2363 was adopted: "That Whereas, in the interest of economy and fe~ the purpose of lessening th~ Burden upon the taxpayer without lessening efficiency, and Whereas, an official from the California Taxpayers League has Just finished a survey of the various depart- ments of our City and made certain reconnnendationS as to re-adjustment of salaries of all employes of the City subject to being fixed by the City Council New, Therefore, be it resolved that the salaries oft he following City employees be re-adjusted effective as of (See Reao.
