On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br /> <br />tied, the City Council adjourned to Monday, July ~4th, <br />1933, at ?:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber. <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />Mayor of the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />Santa Ama City Hall. <br /> <br />July ~.*th, 193~. V:~O P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular adJnurned session. <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Witmer. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, <br />W.H. Penn, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br />In Re <br />Orange <br />League <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />of Municipalities. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Request of <br /> <br />Company "L". <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Electric Sign. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Applications Granted <br /> <br />to Sell Beverages. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the invitation to attend the dinner meeting of <br />the Orange County League of MUnicipalities to be held at <br />Newport Beach, Thursday evening, July 2Vth, was accepted <br />and the Clerk instructed to advise the Secretary of the <br />League that all members wiX1 attend. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee LeGaye, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the request of James B. Pettit, Capt. 188th <br />Infantry, C~manding Company "L", for a donation of <br />to their mess fund-for summer encampment, was denied and <br />the Clerk was instructed to advise Oaptain Pettit of the <br />Council's action. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried, <br />the application of MaeFarlane Electric for permission to <br />erect an electric sign for Apel's at 418 N. Sycamore <br />Street, was granted -.,-~er supervision of the Electrical <br />Inspector on condition that sign is not a beverage sign. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye a~l <br />carried, the applications for permits to sell legal bever- <br />ages were granted, with the provision that licenses will <br />be revocable if persons or-firm do not comply with the <br /> <br /> <br />
