On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried, .the Clerk was instructed to issue a warrant in amount of $5.00 to the Orange County League of Municipalities to coverL incidental expenses charged to each city as dues. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and carried, the monthly reports of the City Officers for the month of July were referred to the Finance Committee. ,, On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants accord- ing to demands audited by the Finance Committee. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried, the application of Juan Sarinana to sell legal beverages at 2216 W. Fifth Street, was granted with the provision that license will be revocable if person or firm does not comply with the Ordinance regulating such business. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and carried, the .budget for the year 1933-1934 as submitted by the City Auditor, was approved.. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the Council proceeded to open bids for City Advertising for the coming year as follows: Register Publishing Co., Ltd. .45~ .45~ .45~ On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the bid of the Register Publishing Co., Ltd. was accepted and the City Attorney instructed to prepare agreement covering the City Advertising. ,, An Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana, California, fixing the ~mount of money ascertained to carry on the various departments of the City of Santa Arm, and to pay the bonded indebtedness falling due for the current year 1933-34, and fixing the rate of taxation for the current ~ear 1933-34, designating the number of cents on each lO0.O0 for the various funds of said City on the whole of the taxable property of said City as set by the County Assessor of the County of Orange, State of California, and equalized by the Board of Supervisors Of said County, and hereby levied on the whole of the taxable property of said City." was introduced, read, considered and referred back to the City Attorney. ,, On motion of Truatee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and carried, the con~unication of the Orange County Printers sigRed by Santa Arm Printers Association/suggesting that the city printing be divided
