In Ro Applicotion Cleo Ad,ma. In Re Protest of S.A. Merchants. In Re Application J. M. Ramirez. In Re Pmoposed Hand Bill Ordinance. On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and carried, the application of Cleo Adema for permission to move her small hand laundry from 1047 to 1040 W. First Street and to build a screen porch at rear of building, was referred to the Planning Com~nission. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the protest signed by merchants engaged in the business of storage and parking of automobiles in the City against the proposed plan to reduce the Police Force in Santa Ana, was received and filed. ,, On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and carried the application o'f J. M. Ramirez to conduct the Pool Hall at 903 E. Fourth Street, was granted on recommendation of the Police Commissioner. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye end car- ried, the communication from the Secretary of the Orange County League of Municipalities submitting a proposed ordinance relative to regulating the distribution of adve~ tising matter or the hand bill ordinance, was referred to
