Carse. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Anderson & Detrixhe. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Willis Doctolero. <br /> <br />would otherwise be levied upon property within the C~ty <br />for the fiscal year 1933-1934. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and <br />carried, the-communication of Hause, Hunt & Schwartz with <br />reference to rendering their services for public utility <br />appraisals and rate cases, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, the invitation to the dinner meeting of the <br />Orange County League of Municipalities to be held at <br />Hi-Hi Tavern, Laguna Beach, Thureday, August 24th, was <br />accepted and members of the Council and Department Heads <br />were urged to attend. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the proposal of Knox & Stout offering to sell <br />their property with building at 420 East Foumth Street <br />for use as a City Hall, taking in exchange the lot owned <br />by the City at Third and Main Streets and having an <br />appraisal made on both properties for adjustment of <br />values, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaege~, seconded by LeGaye and <br />carried, the application of J. M. Lasater for the job as <br />caretaker of the Bowers Memorial Museum, was received <br />and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the application of H. V. Carse for pez~nission <br />to remodel garage shelter to permit the operation of a <br />Pool Hall at 2902 W. Fifth Street, was referred to the <br />Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, the application of Major M. Anderson and L. J. <br />Detrixhe to sell legal beverages at their place of busi- <br />ness, 23§ N. Broadway, was granted with the provision <br />that license will be revocable if person or firm does <br />not comply with the Ordinance regulating such business. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the application of Willie Doctolero to conduct <br />a Pool Hall at 2106 W. Fifth Street, was granted on <br />recommendation of the Police Commissioner and Chief. <br /> <br /> <br />
